Credit Education Week is about giving you the information you need to not only be financially secure, but to also learn how to use credit to your advantage so that you can get that car, go to that school, take that trip, and eventually, buy that house.

Events of 2007

The calendar of events for Credit Education Week Canada 2007 included:

  • National essay contest aimed at grade-twelve students who will answered how they plan on financing their post-secondary education. Winners will received scholarship awards.
  • University Campus fairs featured presentations by James Cunningham of “Funny Money”
    • University of Toronto, Hart House, Toronto - November 13
    • York University, Underground, Toronto - November 14
  • Credit Education Trade Show/Speaker Series featured seminars led by noted authors, experts and government agencies on topics including: youth and money, identity theft/fraud, retirement planning, savings and investment.
    • Four Seasons Hotel, Toronto - November 15
  • Gala Dinner featuring Stephen Lewis, Four Seasons Hotel, Toronto - November 15
